Hello! So I'm probably not going to be on much. I'm trying to stay away from my computer because it seems to enjoy sapping all the life out of me, until I have absolutely no time for study or research. I have so much work to do for papers and essays, and I can't even find the time to go to yoga twice a week (which kind of sucks because I really thought it would help my neck issues:P) or to volunteer at the humane society (which is terrible on a whole new level, the poor babies:(). So basically I'm doing absolutely nothing in life except course work. Ick.

Hi everyone! My goodness, I have to keep running off like this. But I guess the important thing is that I keep coming back, right? Haha. So long story short, I've been in England for the past month studying. It was amazing, but I didn't have any time to draw. I saw the National Gallery in London though, which is freakin FREE! Also saw the Tate Modern, Courtauld Gallery, and Dali exhibit. So combined with the six shows I saw, I was in heaven. I wish I lived there. With all the money I saved by not having to pay for art galleries, I could see as many shows as I wanted! Granted I'd be broke in a month or two, but who needs money when you can ha

Well, I'm back. And I have very little to show for it. I wanted to draw everyday, I wanted to use my Venetian watercolours; basically I wanted to "art" (my favourite verb, by the way). But I was very, very busy, so I didn't have time to draw or paint much. Nonetheless, it was an absolutely amazing experience, and I learned a lot. I'm the kind of person who is intensely passionate about art. When I get into a museum or church it's an immediate switch to 'art mode' and go. I could go all day, everyday, which is exactly what this trip was. Basically, I was in heaven. To stand in the centre of a nave, turn around, and see Titian's Assumption!
